Mega Volume Lashes vs. Volume Lashes. What’s the difference? The difference between mega volume and traditional volume is the number of false lashes used to create the handmade fan and the diameter of these false lashes. Each mega volume fan uses 6 to 16 false lashes with diameters between 0.03 to 0.05 mm while a volume fan will use 2 to 5 false lashes with diameters between 0.05 to 0.07 mm. Mega volume allows for a denser and darker look look since it uses these light-weight fans with numerous extensions. False perceptions is that due to the fullness we are able to create with mega volume, the lashes are heavy. WRONG! These lashes are literally weightless and the only time you will feel them is when the wind is blowing.
